Holiday Pharmacy is family-owned local pharmacy that has served the community for over 40 years. We are a retail pharmacy also specializing in auto accident claims, and we provide free-same day delivery to greater Detroit.
Holiday Pharmacy is located in the building located at 37771 Schoenherr, Sterling Heights (corner of 16 Mile and Schoenherr), in the same building as the doctors: Cardiovascular Consultants, Urgent Care of Sterling Heights, Nayak Oncology, Schoenherr Internal Medicine, Troy Sleep Center & AAIRS Allergy Clinic and Cardiovascular Consultants Diagnostic Testing.
Our History
Established in 1975 by Herb Shanbaum, RPH (Z”L), Holiday Pharmacy has been servicing patients for over 45 years.
Herb Shanbaum (or as everyone used to call him “Herbie”) started the first pharmacy, Holiday Pharmacy, in 1975 at the Garfield Location at 37555 Garfield, Mount Clemens in the same building as Dr. Robert Marcereau, DO.
Herbie was a staple in the community, not just in Mount Clemens, but at other Holiday Pharmacy locations and surrounding areas as well. Everyone knew Herbie and came to Holiday Pharmacy to get their prescriptions filled and have a laugh.
Our Future
Herbie passed away in December 2019, but his legacy and mission still live on with Holiday Pharmacy being run as a family business serving customers in the community with humor, reliability and customized pharmacy services.
